DitaiPlastic was founded by Mr. Dehong Zou, who has worked in moulds, thin-gauge packaging and industrial thermoforming for more than four decades. From building his own thermoforming machine with family savings to serving global brands today, one principle has never changed: be honest and never disappoint customers.
“Honesty first. Do things well. Never disappoint customers.” – This is the DNA of DitaiPlastic.
Before DitaiPlastic existed, Mr. Zou had already spent many years in the plastic industry: making moulds, producing thin-gauge packaging and learning every detail of vacuum forming. He has seen almost every stage of this industry’s development in China.
When he decided to start DitaiPlastic, there was no investor, no ready-made equipment and no guaranteed orders. There was only experience — and a strong belief that if you do things properly and honestly, customers will stay.
He invested all of his family’s savings into the new company. Instead of buying a finished machine, he bought steel, heating elements and a vacuum pump, and then designed and built DitaiPlastic’s first industrial thermoforming machine by himself.
While our founder, Mr. Dehong Zou, built DitaiPlastic with honesty, craftsmanship and persistence, the new generation continues the same spirit — but with a broader and deeper mission. We believe that making good products is only the beginning.
Today, DitaiPlastic’s mission is also about creating a place where people can grow, express their value, and feel proud of the work they do.
A team that feels like family, friends and teammates
We want DitaiPlastic to be more than just a factory. We aim to build a team that trusts each other like family, supports each other like friends, and works side by side like teammates — where employees feel respected and valued, where ideas are welcomed and shared freely, where growth is encouraged, and where everyone contributes to the same goal: creating products we can all be proud of.
The older generation gave DitaiPlastic its foundation: honesty, hard work and the belief that every customer deserves your best effort. The new generation adds to this: a wider vision, a stronger team culture, and a commitment to building something that lasts well beyond any single project or generation.
Many factories talk about equipment and capacity. For DitaiPlastic, the more important story is how we treat people — customers, employees and partners — and how we stay with projects from early design to launch.
Mr. Zou worked in moulds, thin-gauge packaging and traditional vacuum forming, building a deep, practical understanding of plastic behaviour and tooling.
With no investors, he used his own savings to buy steel, heating elements and vacuum pumps, then designed and built the first industrial thermoforming machine.
As customers brought more complex parts, DitaiPlastic added mould machining, CNC trimming, painting and assembly — always following the same principle: never let customers down.
Many engineers and operators have stayed with DitaiPlastic for years. Customers say that DitaiPlastic feels like an extension of their own engineering team rather than just a supplier.
From a small workshop to serving thousands of customers worldwide, DitaiPlastic’s journey has always been shaped by the people who chose to work with us. Our customer photo wall captures these real moments — the first factory visit, engineering discussions, sample reviews, and the handshake before a project begins.
Each photo represents more than a collaboration. It reflects trust — trust in our quality, our delivery stability, and our commitment to never raise prices mid-project.

Many of the projects we have developed started with a simple idea — a sketch, a photo or an early 3D model. DitaiPlastic joins early, helps refine the design, and continues to support you through tooling, trials and launch.
You share your concept, drawings or photos. Our engineers review draft angles, wall thickness and split lines, and give DFM suggestions tailored to thermoforming.
Together we confirm materials, structure and appearance. DitaiPlastic takes care of tooling, thermoforming process, CNC trimming and the right surface finish for your application.
Samples, pilot runs and mass production are managed with the same mindset: keep quality stable, communicate clearly and build a long-term cooperation instead of a one-time order.
DitaiPlastic may not be the largest thermoforming factory in China, and we are not the best at marketing. But we are serious, persistent and down-to-earth — and many customers and employees have stayed with us for many years because of that.
If something is risky, difficult or not suitable for thermoforming, we will say it clearly and propose alternatives instead of promising something we cannot deliver.
When an issue appears, our first question is “how do we fix it?” — not “who to blame?”. This is how we keep long-term relationships with customers.
From a small radius on a mould to a logo colour on a painted part, details matter. Many of our process improvements come from small, careful observations.
Skilled operators, engineers and inspectors are the heart of the factory. We try to create a stable, respectful environment so they can focus on doing good work.
Our goal is to support multiple generations of your products, not only one shipment. This long-term view guides our decisions on tooling, process and investment.
When a cover or housing leaves our factory, it also carries our name. We want both your team and ours to be proud when the product reaches the market.
