Why Electronics OEMs and CMs Choose DitaiPlastic
- UL94 V-0 material expertise — pre-qualified FR-ABS and PC/ABS grades with UL Yellow Cards on file for direct reference in your UL 62368-1 submission.
- EMI/RFI shielding integration — conductive nickel/copper spray, vacuum-metallized aluminum, or laminated shielding foil, verified via shielding effectiveness testing (60–80 dB typical).
- Thermal management features — formed louvers, integrated vents, airflow channels for passive cooling of server and networking gear.
- Tight tolerance CNC trim — ±0.2mm on feature locations critical for PCB mounting, connector alignment, and bezel fit.
- ESD-safe surface options — static-dissipative coatings for clean-build environments and sensitive PCBA handling.
Electronics programs shipped in the last 24 months include server chassis cosmetic covers for a top-5 CM, telecom cabinet doors for a North American carrier vendor, smart-display rear enclosures, and AV receiver top covers.

Materials Best for Electronics Enclosures
- FR-ABS (UL94 V-0) — primary material for indoor enclosures. Cost-effective, paintable, easy texture.
- PC/ABS (UL94 V-0) — higher impact, better thermal stability. Ideal for server and networking gear.
- Polycarbonate (FR) — transparent or tinted covers and lenses.
- Kydex — structural housings needing chemical and fire resistance.
- HIPS — ultra-low-cost covers for cosmetic trim.
What to Include in Your Electronics RFQ
- CAD file — STEP or X_T of enclosure plus mating PCB/chassis for fit verification.
- Annual volume and program life.
- UL / EMC targets — which standards and test agency.
- EMI shielding spec — target dB attenuation and frequency range.
- Color, texture, gloss, logo/branding, Pantone references.
- Thermal environment — max operating temperature, vent requirements.
- Packaging — ESD, retail, or bulk.

Electronics RFQ FAQ
Do you work with Foxconn / Wistron / Hisense?
Yes. We’ve supplied parts to programs at all three, either directly or through their Tier-2 mechanical suppliers. References available under NDA.
What EMI shielding attenuation can you achieve?
60–80 dB across 30 MHz–1 GHz with nickel/copper conductive spray; 80+ dB with laminated foil. Exact numbers depend on enclosure geometry and seam treatment.
Can you hit ±0.1mm on connector cutouts?
CNC trim routinely holds ±0.15mm; ±0.1mm is feasible with fixture design and is priced as a Cp class. Discuss at DFM.
Do you offer ESD-safe finishes?
Yes — static-dissipative coatings (10^6–10^9 ohm/sq) applied as secondary ops, or inherently dissipative resins for critical applications.
Can you do in-mold decoration or tampo printing?
Tampo/pad printing and silk-screening are standard secondary ops. Full IMD is better suited to injection molding partners we can recommend.
