Description
Custom thermoformed aerospace ducts from DitaiPlastic are crafted from durable, high-performance polymers tailored to your specific aerospace application. Designed for aerodynamics and heat resistance, these ducts fit seamlessly within various aerospace systems. Built specifically to your drawings, our components meet high industry standards, ensuring optimal performance in high-stress environments.
How It Is Made
Our facility uses a vertically integrated approach, starting with plastic sheet extrusion to create uniform material bases. Following this, precision thermoforming shapes the ducts using our fleet of 16 thermoforming machines, enabling customization to exact specifications. After forming, we employ our 16 CNC units for precise multi-axis trimming, which ensures each duct meets tight tolerances and complex geometries required in aerospace designs. Post-processing, like painting and assembly, is meticulously managed to meet aesthetic and functional requirements, culminating in products that conform to rigorous aerospace standards.

Quality
DITAI publishes current certificate records with their individual site, scope and dates; its ISO 14001 document is historical, not evidence of current certification. See the certificate records for supplier qualification. Each order undergoes in-house inspections, focusing on dimensional accuracy and structural integrity, which are essential for components exposed to high velocity and temperature changes.
How To Enquire
Before quoting, send us your drawings for a design-for-manufacturability (DFM) review. Specify your target aerospace market and the required certifications. We perform a detailed assessment, offering feedback on material and design compatibility to ensure your ducts perform optimally within your system. Visit DitaiPlastic to start the enquiry process and discuss your ducting needs.
