Tooling and Material Selection for Optimal Performance

The thermoforming process for industrial equipment housing begins with comprehensive tooling and material selection. Our expert team utilizes in-house mold fabrication, employing CNC technology to achieve precise tolerances. We offer a wide range of engineering thermoplastics, including ABS, PC, and HDPE, in thicknesses from 0.5 to 12 mm, allowing for customization to suit specific industrial requirements. The selection process considers factors such as impact resistance, thermal stability, and environmental exposure.

Forming and Heat Application for Exact Shape

Once the tooling is ready, the selected plastic sheets undergo a meticulous forming process. Utilizing one of our 16 thermoforming machines, the sheets are heated to a pliable state and then shaped to the exact specifications of the equipment housing design. Our machines accommodate large parts up to 5000 × 2500 × 1000 mm, ensuring we can handle a variety of project sizes without compromising on quality.

CNC Trimming for Precision and Consistency

Following the forming stage, precision CNC trimming is applied to refine the shape and finalize dimensions. With 28 CNC trimming machines and 16 five-axis CNC units at our disposal, we ensure that every cut adheres to a ±0.5 mm tolerance. This precision is critical for industrial applications where exact fit and function are required, reducing assembly time and improving product reliability.

Surface Finishing and Quality Assurance

Surface finishing is the final step, where the housing is polished and, if required, painted using our four dedicated paint booths. We offer various finishes, including glossy, matte, and textured, to meet aesthetic and functional demands. Each housing unit undergoes rigorous inspection, conforming to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards, ensuring they meet both internal and client-specific quality expectations.
