Thermoforming Supplier Trusted by Medical, Automotive & EV OEMs
If you’re sourcing custom thermoformed parts from China for a regulated industry — medical, automotive, EV charging — you can’t afford a supplier that misses tolerances, fails an audit, or disappears mid-program. We’ve been doing this since 1997. Today, our 20,000 m² Dongguan plant is IATF 16949 certified, ISO 13485 documented, and supplies six Fortune-500 brands as named customers including Louis Vuitton, Guerlain (LVMH), Foxconn, Wistron, KTC, and Hisense.
Six years of programs with Louis Vuitton. 100% on-time delivery on the last 24 months. 99%+ first-pass yield in their QC process. Same engineering team that built that program is on yours.

Why this page exists
Procurement teams at regulated OEMs typically run a 4-step supplier qualification:
- Discovery — find 10–20 potential suppliers via search and referrals
- Capability check — confirm certifications, capacity, references
- Audit / first-article — visit (or video-audit) and run a small project
- Award — multi-year program kicks off
Most pages on supplier websites help with step 1. They don’t help with step 2 — which is where 80% of your evaluation time goes. This page is built for step 2.
If you’re a procurement engineer or program manager qualifying us as a supplier, here’s what you need: certifications, named customers, real production metrics, documented quality system, and someone you can talk to who answers technical questions in 48 hours. All of that is on this page.

What we deliver, by industry
Medical Device OEMs
Compliance: ISO 13485 documented production. USP Class VI material grades available. Material traceability with COA on every batch. Validated cleaning protocols for medical-equipment housings. We can support 510(k) or CE-mark documentation packages with material declarations and process validation evidence.
What we make: Surgical equipment housings, diagnostic device covers, hospital-cart panels, dental equipment shells, mobile-imaging cart bodies, point-of-care diagnostic enclosures, IVD instrument covers.
Typical materials: Medical-grade ABS, PC, PETG. USP Class VI grades on request. EMI-shielded substrates for sensitive electronics.
What we don’t do: Cleanroom-class production (we don’t have ISO 14644 Class 7 cleanrooms on site). For sterile-pack medical, we’d recommend a different supplier.
Automotive Tier-1 Suppliers (IATF 16949 certified)
Compliance: IATF 16949:2016 certified active. PPAP Level 3 documentation provided. ISIR support. APQP framework supported. Material certs for low-VOC interior parts. FMVSS 302 self-extinguishing grades on request.
What we make: Bumper covers, undertrays, EV battery enclosures, interior panels, dashboard substrates, door pillars, headliners, trunk liners, wheel-arch liners, engine-bay covers.
Typical volumes: 5,000 – 80,000 vacuum-formed parts per program per year. We’ve shipped 80,000+ automotive parts annually to Tier-1 customers.
Typical materials: ABS, ABS/PC blends, TPO (lower-VOC interior), PE for engine-bay parts, ASA for exterior trim where UV stability matters.
EV & Charging Station Manufacturers
What we make: Level 2 and Level 3 charger enclosures, battery pack housings, cable guards, charging-station kiosk bodies, Type 2 and CCS connector covers, stationary energy storage cabinet panels.
Why thermoforming for EV: Tooling is 5–10× cheaper than injection (matters when product specs are still evolving). Lead time 6–10 weeks shorter (matters in a market where networks are scaling fast). Material change easier when battery chemistry or thermal-management approach changes.
Typical materials: ASA for outdoor weather stability (UV-tested 10+ years), TPO for impact-resistant battery covers, PC for transparent charging-status windows, EMI-shielded substrates for sensitive electronics inside chargers.
Industrial Robotics OEMs
What we make: AMR (autonomous mobile robot) body shells, cobot covers, sensor housings, agricultural robot enclosures, lidar/camera mounting shells.
Why thermoforming for robotics: Soft-touch ABS finishes for consumer-facing robots. Class A surfaces achievable. 60% lighter than sheet-metal alternatives. Sensor cutouts at ±0.2 mm tolerance (we hold this on every AMR program).
Real production case: 1650 mm AMR body shell, ABS soft-touch, 14 sensor cutouts at ±0.2 mm, 99.4% first-pass yield, currently scaling 200 → 2,000 units/year for a US robotics startup.
Aerospace & Defense
What we make: Cabin sidewall panels, equipment fairings, large-format covers, gantry covers, specialty enclosures.
Compliance: FAR 25.853 self-extinguishing materials available. Material certificates and traceability provided. Defense-industry supply requires customer-direct compliance review (some materials and end uses are export-controlled).
Industrial Machinery
What we make: Machine guards (OSHA & ANSI B11.19 compliant), HMI cover panels, pump housings, control-cabinet covers.
Real cost case: 2150 mm machine guard for heavy-equipment OEM. HDPE base + clear PC viewing window. 62% lighter than fabricated sheet steel; 38% cheaper. 800 units/year on a 3-year contract.
Luxury Retail & Display
6-year ongoing program with Louis Vuitton; multiple shorter programs with Guerlain. Acid-etched textured molds, multiple paint finishes (matte, gloss, soft-touch), in-house silk-screen and laser engraving. Color management to Pantone reference standards.
How we work with regulated-industry OEMs
The standard cycle, with realistic timing:

- 84% of our OEM customers reorder within 12 months
- 97.8% on-time delivery rate (rolling 12 months)
- Net-30 payment terms after 6 months of established history
What auditors look at when they visit (and what they find)
Customer audits we host typically check:
- Process control documentation — we run on ERP with barcode tracking; every operation has a written work instruction signed by an engineer and revision-controlled
- Calibration records — measurement equipment calibrated on schedule, traceable to national standards
- Material traceability — sheet lot to finished part, ERP-linked
- Operator training records — competency matrix per work station
- Non-conformance handling — 8D process documented, root-cause analysis on all customer complaints
- Engineering change control — design change requires sign-off from engineering + quality + customer (where applicable)
- First-piece inspection — every shift, every machine, before production starts
- In-process inspection — sampling per control plan
- Final inspection — AQL 1.0 standard, 100% on critical features
- Packaging spec compliance — to customer-supplied packaging standards
The standard audit duration is 1–2 days. We provide a private meeting room, factory floor access (with PPE), and access to relevant operators for interview. Audit findings are typically delivered as a formal report within 2 weeks; we respond to corrective actions within 30 days.
What we won’t do
We’re upfront because mismatches in scope waste your time and ours.
We don’t take projects where:
- Volume is below 10 units AND tolerance must be ±0.05 mm (CNC machining is a better fit)
- Volume is above 200,000 units/year AND parts are small (< 200 mm) — injection will beat us on per-piece cost long-term
- Cleanroom production is required (Class 7 or cleaner — we don’t have on-site capacity)
- Geometry has features that fundamentally don’t form (e.g., tall narrow internal ribs that vacuum can’t pull onto)
- Customer’s quality expectations are inconsistent with documented process limits (e.g., demanding ±0.1 mm on a 2000 mm part — we’ll explain why this isn’t physically achievable in heavy gauge thermoforming)
We’ve turned down projects in each of those categories in 2025–2026. We’d rather lose a quote than ship parts we can’t consistently make.
